- In 1849 the Harrods Knightsbridge store was built by Charles Henry Harrod.
- During World War Two, Belgrave Square was actually a tank park. Three bombs are known to have dropped directly onto the square during the Blitz.
- Knightsbridge is home to some of the world’s most famous and wealthy individuals, including Charles Saatchi, Nigella Lawson and Roman Abramovich.
